These Terms are here to make our relationship clear.

These Terms of Use apply when you access or use METISx. They explain the responsibilities that sit with METISx and the responsibilities that remain with you as a member or visitor using the service.

By using METISx, you agree to use the platform responsibly and in accordance with these Terms. If you do not agree with them, you should not use the service.

Using METISx

Use the platform honestly, securely and for its intended purpose.

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms and use METISx. Where access is provided through an invitation, account or future sign up process, the information you provide should be accurate and reasonably current.

Your Professional Evidence

You choose what professional evidence to provide.

METISx may allow you to enter, upload or preserve professional information, documents, reflections, career materials and other evidence. You decide what to provide, subject to information that may be reasonably required to create or operate your account.

You retain ownership of the information and content that belongs to you. By providing it to METISx, you give us permission to process it as reasonably necessary to provide, operate and improve the services you choose to use.

Only provide information you are entitled to share. Do not upload confidential, proprietary, sensitive or third party material unless you have the right and a genuine reason to provide it.

Professional Intelligence

Professional Intelligence supports understanding. It does not replace judgement.

METISx may use software, automated systems and artificial intelligence to organise, analyse, connect and explain professional evidence. MEx is the intelligence capability that helps turn relevant evidence and context into Professional Intelligence.

Professional Intelligence may contain limitations, uncertainty or mistakes. It should be considered alongside your own experience, circumstances, professional advice where appropriate, and any other information relevant to the decision you are making.

Member responsibilities

Use METISx in a way that protects the integrity of the experience.

When using METISx, you agree not to:

• use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or deliberately harmful activity;
• misrepresent your identity or knowingly provide materially false information where it affects the service;
• upload information you do not have the right to provide;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems, data or restricted areas of the platform;
• interfere with, probe, disrupt, reverse engineer or deliberately compromise the security or operation of METISx;
• use the platform in a way that infringes another person's rights or undermines the safe use of the service.

Our responsibilities

We aim to earn trust through how the platform is built and operated.

METISx is an evolving service. We aim to operate it thoughtfully and to keep improving the practices that support responsible Professional Intelligence.

• improve privacy and responsible information handling;
• strengthen governance as the platform and its capabilities evolve;
• take reasonable steps to protect platform security and member information;
• make AI assisted experiences increasingly transparent and understandable;
• improve product quality, reliability and the clarity of the METISx experience.

These are continuing responsibilities. They are not claims that any digital service can be completely error free, uninterrupted or immune from security risk.

Intellectual property

Your content remains yours. The METISx platform remains ours.

Using METISx gives you permission to use the service in accordance with these Terms. It does not transfer ownership of METISx technology, branding or intellectual property to you.

Platform availability

METISx will evolve, and the service may change over time.

Professional outcomes

METISx can support a decision. It cannot guarantee what happens next.

Careers depend on many factors outside the platform's control. METISx does not guarantee:

• employment or an offer of employment;
• an interview or progression through a recruitment process;
• a promotion, appointment or professional opportunity;
• a particular salary, remuneration or negotiation outcome;
• career success or any other specific professional result.

You remain responsible for reviewing information, deciding what is appropriate for your circumstances and making your own professional decisions.

Updates to these Terms

The Terms may evolve as METISx evolves.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, our practices, technology or applicable requirements. When we make changes, the latest version and its updated date will be published here.

If a change materially affects how you use METISx, we will aim to communicate it in a reasonable way appropriate to the nature of the change.
