We intentionally aim to collect only information reasonably necessary to provide and improve the service. As METISx evolves, we intend to keep improving our privacy, governance and security practices alongside the product.
AI is one enabling capability within METISx. Professional Intelligence is the product: evidence, context and perspective designed to help you understand your own professional journey more clearly.

Information reasonably required to provide, maintain, protect and understand use of the METISx service.

Every request for information should have a reason.

- analyse professional evidence you choose to provide;
- create and strengthen your Professional Intelligence;
- support account access, service operation and member communications;

We use information to create useful context, not unexplained conclusions.
METISx may organise, analyse, connect and synthesise information you provide so that relevant patterns, evidence and professional context can be presented back to you more clearly.
Our transparency principle is simple: you should be able to understand what information contributed to an experience, why it mattered and where automated or AI-assisted processing played a role.
When AI assists
AI assists with analysis. It does not own your judgement.
Artificial intelligence may assist METISx in analysing information, identifying patterns, connecting evidence, synthesising context and generating explanations or recommendations.
Intelligence is what METISx provides. Judgement remains with the professional.
Generated outputs should always be reviewed. METISx is designed to inform and support professional decisions, not to make meaningful career decisions on your behalf.
Who may process information
Some trusted service providers may process information on behalf of METISx.
Like most digital services, METISx may rely on third-party providers that support functions such as hosting, authentication, infrastructure, communications, analytics or AI-enabled processing. Where they process information for METISx, their role is to support delivery of the service rather than make professional decisions for you.
As the platform evolves, we intend to keep reviewing these arrangements and strengthen governance in line with the sensitivity and purpose of the information involved.
Your choices
You remain in control of what professional evidence you choose to provide.
You can choose what information to enter or upload, subject to information that may be required to create or operate an account. You should review information before providing it and avoid including material that is unnecessary for the experience you are using.
As METISx expands, privacy controls and information-management choices should continue to become clearer and more useful—not more difficult to understand.
